Orchids are affordable and many are easy to grow. The flowers are rewarding and gorgeous. They will cheer up any room. Give it a try and you will be hooked for life. A Phalaenopsis or Paphiopedilum makes a wonderful, beautiful addition to almost any room in your home. Their beautiful flowers are long lasting and many Papiopedilums have pretty mottled foliage. These are the easiest to grow in the home if you are just starting the orchid adventure.
