If you love fine handmade millinery, hand knitted and crocheted pieces, shabby chic, cottage-style, all things charming and romantic, a nod to the UK, ethnic, period and historically inspired fashion, unique one-of-a-kind wearable art, vintage clothing, repurposed collectibles, recycled jewelry, and even Italian Renaissance Masks, then I think you will enjoy what you see here! There truly is something for everyone!
I'm so excited and looking forward to the New Year, and to presenting several new lines of THISTLE COTTAGE STUDIO clothing designs in my ETSY shop! Just a hint of what's coming......one of a kind wearable art jackets, very wearable abstract knit dresses, my new line of Jane Austen inspired jackets, dresses and coats, contemporary cocktail dresses and hats, and more decadent French Toille Victorian Crusher hats!!. 2010 will be a whole new inspiration and direction, and even a new section for COSTUMES!! I will be indulging my apparel design and theater backgrounds to their fullest.

There I will offer sneak peeks of fabrics on the cutting tables, sketches, and new pieces soon to be uploaded, and my thought processes for these new directions! Even a few fun fashion history insights to these inspirations.
