Welcome to the shop. I’m a momma who loves to sew. I have been sewing since college, making everything from pillows and curtains to dresses and blouses for myself. I began sewing children's clothes for my own children, then as gifts. When my friends began to request pieces for their own kids, I dabbled a bit in my first Etsy shop. Finally, I jumped right into the hand-made children’s clothing market in September of 2010. It took a lot of faith, but I LOVE my job! I have 2 big kids now, but I still love making classics for little ones.

I’m a Louisiana girl, so my shop is stocked with Southern classics. You’ll find seersucker and gingham, jon jons and jumpers, and lots of monogramming! And, like any good Louisiana girl, you can count on me to provide you with lots of purple & gold and black & gold.

I’m married to a great guy who does all he can to support my home-based business. I sew while the kids are at school (or early morning and late night if I need to be at the school for a PTA event). I answer emails while sitting poolside at daily swim practice for my two little fishes.

About my products:
When I spend money on my children’s clothing, I want to get the best quality possible. That’s what I give you:
---Completely customized products. You can choose the colors, the sizes, the monograms, the appliquéd designs. I am sewing just for you!
---All seams are professionally finished, either with serging or enclosed seams.
---Everything is pre-washed. There will be no surprise! shrinking.
---I choose fabrics that I would use for my own children. These fabrics will wash and wear well with only little need to iron.
---I use heirloom patterns for the jon jons and jumpers. These patterns are wonderful because your child can wear them for a longer period of time. If you find the garment is slightly too large, just move the buttons. As your child grows, you can move the buttons again, making the garment fit for a longer period of time.
