Emily (aka Mom) has always enjoyed sewing, but as a mother of 5, she did not have much time or room to spend on her own pastimes. After Mom retired and booted the last of us kids out of the nest, she picked up an unfinished quilt passed on by her mom and decided to finish it.

We think that is when the obsession, er... love of quilting took hold. At the beginning, Mom did all of her quilting by hand. I have one of those quilts on my bed right now and have used it for close to 20 years. Now, Mom enjoys using technology to ease the burden on her hands and her eyes. She is able to spend more time selecting the fabrics and colors and piecing together the building blocks of her quilts.

I have been a seller here on Etsy for many years with a focus on jewelry and a solid track record of customer service. After taking a break for more than a year, Mom and I decided to bring the shop back alive with her quilts.
