Free shipping has been extended until February 14th. My cat who I had had since I was fourteen went into the hospital a week and a half ago and it was discovered she had two types of cancer. She was put to sleep last week. The free shipping is offered as a buying incentive to help out with the large hospital and vet bills. Thanks to everyone who has offered kind words and support-- it means a lot. Kalypso was the best kitty ever, and I miss her terribly.

I will be randomly listing Luminosity Project yarns and fibres on a regular basis, as well as scheduled updates. Please note, any items preceded with a TLS are one of a kind colourways and cannot be repeated.

What is the Luminosity Project? The Luminosity Project is a new line of yarns dyed with multiple applications of colour to create incredibly beautiful, intense colours. As an oil painter builds up his surface with glazes, so do I build up the colours with applications of dye. A colourway may contain up to ten applications of colour. The yarns are luxurious– cashmeres, silks, merino silks, alpacas, and other blends. Colourways are unique and non-repeatable, and base yarns may be limited as well.

I do not do custom spinning, but I would be more than happy to refer you to some wonderful spinners who do. Just ask!

I ship Mondays and Wednesdays, (meaning I take the packages to the post office) both domestic and international. Posted there, but here again for good measure: there is NO way of tracking international packages sent first class international once it leaves my hands UNLESS you request Express shipping or registered mail. I will do this if you request it, but please bear in mind that it is considerably more expensive.
