PINKMOONSHINE STUDIO was inspired by my roots and proud heritage. I am southern Irish gal from the hills of the bluegrass state. My people made moonshine atop the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. If I had been there( clearing myself of all criminal acts..ha ha), I would have tied a pink bow on the jugs. You can get down in the dirt with the boys as long as you know when to sit up straight and be a lady!

This studio is dedicated in memory of my sweet grandparents: Rollie, Opal, Dorothy and Merl...and all the other Coal mining families who do what they know best everyday.


This is the first time that I have created art for other people. Art has always been a private stress reliever for my eyes only, so please bare in mind that I am new at this and not a trained artist. I taught myself and I am continuing the learning process with every piece I create.

I am however pouring my heart and soul into this process with the hopes of sharing "all things pretty and fun" with the world.

I've been a artist since I was a babe. I will never forget winning the "draw a turkey" contest in 2nd grade at Wilmore Elementary. It was the first time I knew I was pretty good because Teresa Oiler( yes, you are being publically called out), stole my drawing and turned it in to Mrs. Thorton as her own. I was crushed when Mrs. T did not believe me so I challenged Teresa to a "draw-off". After some sweat and tears, I was clearly chosen as the winner and original artist.
I have stood up for myself and my creations every since...

I love to paint and draw cities, fish, music and flowers. Challenge me if you would: I love doing comissioned work.
Just throw me an idea: include a theme, colors and size. I do anything from 12x12 to 24x36. Prices range from 30-250$.

Oh, and please know that 33% of the proceeds of my art will go to charity. My current causes are the St. Judes Research Hospital in Memphis, CASA of Houston CO, Georgia and Autism Speaks( in honor of Ty Cruse). Thanks Again....
