Traditional, original Chinese brush paintings, fine art prints, printmaking (monotypes, block prints, relief printing), and other original designs. My Chinese brush paintings are part of my daily meditation and each piece is done carefully, calmly.

Chinese brush painting has been practiced for several thousand years, with an emphasis on spontaneity, living in the moment, mastery of water, and techniques for capturing a subject's Qi, or energy and personality, on paper (not just what it looks like).

I've been painting and working with graphite and charcoal for well over 20 years (20 years with serious cultivation--35 years total, if you count childhood painting and drawing), with an 8-year focus on Chinese brush painting.

I also do illustration work. Most recent publication is "Thumbing Through Thoreau," available on Amazon. I co-illustrated the volume with 150 original illustrations.
