Why I Do What I Do

I started making fabric and yarn items for my family members several years ago and had a lot of positive response from them...and their friends, co-workers, acquaintances, and neighbors! People started asking me to make them items and offering to pay me for them, so I opened a shop here on Etsy. This shop has helped our family pay for adoption expenses when we adopted a child in Hawaii in 2012, and also helped pay for medical expenses when one of our children was diagnosed with a terminal blood disorder. I have been a stay-at-home mom for 15 years, and this shop has been a way for me to support my yarn and fabric hobby. =)
