I started with etsy in 2008 making jewelry amongst a sea of jewelry sellers. Sales were slow and steady, but I wanted more. My husband said "So why don't you make jewelry for dogs". I thought about it, made some samples, set up shop, and Poochy Couture was born. I've expanded my line over the years to include custom collars, but id tags are the bulk of my business.

Last summer I went part time at my day job, so I could spend more time with my husband and two sons. I guess my studio is close enough to say I'm spending time...at least I'm in the same house.
