I am a calligrapher and maker of pinched clay pots.

The majority of the pots that will be shown here are sawdust pit fired. The pit is a low temperature firing and the pots are not glazed. Dry materials can certainly be put into them and I have sold some as wine cups, but they are meant primarily as decorative pieces.
