So here's some basic info about my lamps:
It’s very important to me that my lamps look great, wear well and are safe to use. I use all UL approved sockets, switches and wiring. I've spent a lot of time experimenting with different construction techniques and materials towards this goal.
Most of my lamps are designed to fit a standard lightbulb base with a flame shaped bulb. (Generally, 25-40 watts max). My “moodlights” lamps fit a smaller “candelabra” size bulb.(With this size bulb, 7 to 15 watts are ok).
Each gourd shade has been fitted with a threaded ring, allowing it to screw onto the lamp base and maintain a safe distance from the bulb. This feature allows for easy bulb changing and opens up a gourdly world of possibilities… You may want to order additional gourd shades for your lamp and change them out now and again!)
