5 out of 5 starsHere to leave a very belated but MUCH DESERVED review! A week before my wedding I had this crazy stress-induced idea that I should dress my dog up in a matching outfit. I messaged a million different vendors and got rejected by every single one. No one would even dare to approach this project because the dress was weird, the materials were tricky, and the timeline was basically a death sentence. PuppityMamas stepped up to the plate without any hesitation. They were beyond hilarious, easy to talk to, patient, and super supportive. They did such incredible work and even followed up with shipping to make sure it would arrive on time for the wedding. People were coming up to me and asking if I hemmed my dress to make his outfit... that's how good it was. If you want a custom outfit for your pet, you need PuppityMamas!

When we decided to do steampunk, I was a little worried because I did not see many options. I searched Etsy and found a pirate dress that PuppityMamas had done that I thought might work. When I messaged the seller, I was ecstatic when they offered a custom costume. I sent them photos of some of our costume pieces, and they were super prompt with responses and helpful with suggestions. The costume we got in the mail was the PERFECT complement to our costumes. I highly recommend PuppityMamas and will most definitely be requesting their services in the future.

4 out of 5 starsPlanning and discussing the dogs dresses was easy to do as they are very knowledgeable. There were some difficulties in the process and communication errors long the way. However everything was solved and worked out in the end and my dogs looked adorable.

Frequently asked questions
How do I measure for PuppityMamas custom dog clothing?
We’re glad you asked! The most frequent questions we see are about the lower neck to rib measurement and the rib band width. The easiest way to think of these two measurements is that, when added together, they equal the length of the harness or bodice on your dog. The first takes you to the widest part of the ribs, right behind your dog’s “elbow,” and the other tells us how far the ribs continue past that point before becoming belly. Together, they help us ensure that the band doesn’t chafe the front legs or dig into the belly.

Custom and personalized orders
1/31/20: Due to unforeseen life circumstances, though we still love custom work, we are temporarily unable to accept custom orders.
We love custom orders! We will work with you to design the outfit for your dog, including materials, special requirements, and fit. Then, we sketch it out so that your custom order includes concept sketch and all planned materials and inclusions.
We hope you understand that once a custom order is finalized and ordered, we will need to charge for any subsequent changes as they require additional time and materials from us once we’ve started the purchasing and construction process.
