When I first became interested in itajime, it took me quite a while to find someone to cut plexi for me. Then, I discovered that I had to pay quite a premium for the shapes because I only needed a few. At a craft fair this summer I met a lovely local guy who works with plexi and he agreed to make shapes wholesale for me so that everyone could get into itajime at a more reasonable price. The quilts and bags are made by me, Rossie. Being handmade, no two products are identical, and each is infused with love and care. I am supervised in my work by my very curious dog, Buzz, and in his honor 10% of the purchase price of handmade items is donated to That'll Do Border Collie Rescue.
