Extraordinary dresses for extraordinary little girls!!
Welcome to Rabbit Whiskers!
I hope you will enjoy viewing all of my heirloom, one-of-a-kind (OOAK) designer original dresses.

In developing my own technique of combining handsmocking and hand embroidery I have created dresses with scenes that are 3-dimensional and quite unique! With this combination I am able to capture intricate details and textures enhanced by embroidery, as well as present the beautiful designs of smocking.
For me, a dress front is an "artist's canvas" upon which I "paint" scenes with embroidery.

It is my desire to create a child's dress the likes of which you have never seen before. The scenes on each dress are completely creatted free-hand and worked on solely by me, start to finish. My goal is to create dresses that you will find irresistible and as fine in every way as they can possibly be, enabling you to have a truly special dress that your daughter, or favorite little girl, will enjoy wearing over & over.

Later it can be put away as a treasured heirloom until someday, a young mother looking at her infant daughter, remembers a dress- a favorite dress she herself wore as a baby~ and she will again experience that same delight as she takes this special dress from its storage place, for this dress will once again be graced by a child; this time, her own!
