Hey! Thank you for taking the time to visit Raleigh Modern! We have been in the antiques business for over 30 years. Most of our goods would be considered Mid century. We sell architectual,industrial and modern decorative items. Many of our items would be considered non traditional.
Although we have a ton of experience,we are not experts on many of the items we sell. If we list an item and say it is from North Carolina and you know it is from North Korea,rest assured we are not trying to misrepresent an item to make a sale. We would be happy to explain why we attributed the item to North Carolina.
The condition of most of our items are less than perfect. Most items are at least 50 years old. They will show appropriate wear and tear. We will list major flaws(if any) but minor wear is to be expected. Problems can arise when what I consider to be minor wear is major to you. Please ask specifics before buying-look at the photos. We are not omitting major flaws to make a sale. We want our customers to be happy and shop with us again and again.
Over the years,we have sold to over 30 of shops on the internet site 1stDibs. This can attest to the quality and value of the goods we sell. If there is specific items you are looking for,please convo us. We have an extensive inventory. We will be listing as quickly as we can.
We accept checks,money orders and Paypal. Please let us know within 24 hours of how you plan to pay. If we have not received payment within 5 days we will relist the item. North Carolina shoppers are required to pay sales tax.
We usually ship by Priority Mail. Occasionally we use parcel Post. We will usually ship within 2 work days. We ship mostly on Tuesdays and Fridays.
We will ship to other countries although in many cases the cost of shipping is as much,or more,as the cost of item. We have shipped many items to Australia and Canada. Let us know what item your are interested in and we will add shipping costs to your country in that listing.
Refunds and Exchanges
We do not offer refunds or exchanges.
We package well. The Post Office has delivered over 200 of my sales without a problem. If you have a concern for the safety of your item,please purchase insurance. We are not responsible for lost items. We will assist you in filing for a refund.

This is a smoke free home. We do have dogs although they do not come in contact with our goods. Most of our goods are over 50 years old and we have no way of knowing their history. If you have concerns about allergens,please convo with us and we will help in anyway we can
