Welcome to Rich Gypsy Jewelry! I opened up my shop in 2007, but I am just now actually getting around to stocking it.

Literally, the term "gypsy" refers to descendants of the original Indian travelers who arrived in Western Europe after the downfall of the Byzantine empire in the 15th Century. They called themselves the 'Lords of Little Egypt' which contracted to Egyptians, Gyptians and eventually Gypsies or Gyppos. I find it interesting that most of us have at least a little gypsy in us... something that draws us to explore and see what abundance life has to offer all of us. Even if it's only for a day, a weekend, or a lifetime endeavor, we are all travelers.

I will be adding new items almost daily. I take jewelry very seriously, but at the same time it's really all about the whimsy. Jewelry should be an extension of the individual who wears it. In addition, I design home interior items usually recycled from past life materials. Those will be posted soon.

My policy on commissioned pieces is payment before work begins and no refunds. Please be sure you like the item or know what you want. I am happy to discuss it in length to make sure you're happy.
