Most of my time in the real world is spent knitting or crocheting costumes for films, theater, dance, or opera. In between costume jobs, I get to play with beads and fiber.
Some of you may already have seen my work under my name of Adele Rogers Recklies. People have trouble pronouncing my last name and my beading friends have taken to changing my last name to Reckless as a joke. So I thought, what the heck, Reckless Beading has a nice ring to it. Hence my Etsy shop.
Here you will find my popular bead crochet snake bracelets as well as other beadwork jewelry, beadwork instructions, my beadwork snake book, and some fiber items. The fiber work may repurpose yarns leftover from costumes or may incorporate techniques that we explored while making a costume.
