How far in advance should I order?:

If you see something you like it is best to purchase as far in advance as possible as I don't know what items I will have in stock. If you wait until a week or two before your wedding we may have to charge extra for expedited shipping. I sell out often and sometimes can't get the same size or style back in stock for a few months if at all so the early bird gets the worm.

When choosing a cake stand it is important to choose a wood that holds its bark well. I try to stay away from the cheaper woods that drop the bark easily and search for local hardwoods like Black Walnut and Siberian Elm. I choose woods with beautiful bark that is hearty and full of character. I reinforce the bark using a variety of methods to ensure it will last for the long haul.

I get new wood in all the time so don't hesitate to ask! I can usually ship products out within a few days so short deadlines aren't a problem.
