Bonus question: What does Rue18 mean? Rue is French for street and Dix-Huit, or 18, the name of the fictional street in question, refers to 18 inches, the size of the dolls. So Rue18 means 'the boutique on 18th street' or 'the boutique for 18 inch dolls.'
