Many healing, religious and spiritual traditions burn herbs for emotional, mental, and spiritual purification. The Native American Sacred Smoke Blessing or "smudging" is one well-known ritual. Gemstone healing has been practiced for thousands of years and scientific research is finally showing that the crystalline and chemical structure of stones verifies many results from using gemstones. Combining the smudging ritual with gemstone healing practices is my innovation that I call CHANGE CHARMS. Most Change Charms include a beautiful, fragrant handmade smudge plus the talisman. I use high quality gemstones and metals. Each piece is carefully crafted to blend scientific knowledge of the mineral, crystal or gemstone’s structure, chemical purpose and the Life Force within, along with known healing lore, to meet the purpose and need. My talismans usually include hard to find, rare, higher grade semi-precious and precious stones.
