100% of each sale of the manatee earrings will be donated to Save the Manatees, a Florida based charity which was established in 1981 by former Gov. and US Senator Bob Graham and singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett. The club was started so the public could participate in conservation efforts to save endangered manatees from extinction.
I'm fortunate enough to observe, give fresh water to and occasionally pet these gentle giants who are usually so covered in scars from boats propellers that it can be heartbreaking at times.
