Welcome to Carmel's Creations. Here you will find my shop's policies. I put my all into the crafts I make and I want others to enjoy them. I am selective on the vintage items I list, listing only ones that I think others would find enjoyable.
For payment I accept Paypal, direct checkout (credit cards listed on the Etsy site), Etsy gift cards and money orders. An order can only be cancelled if it has not yet shipped. In the case of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
I ship via USPS within 2-3 business days of receiving payment for an order, except for custom orders (see below). US orders ship either parcel post or flat rate priority mail, depending on the item. Shipping rates are listed on each item entry. Some items I ship internationally, and they ship flat rate priority mail via USPS. All items shipped have a tracking number. Certain vintage items and hand-made items over $50 will have insurance included in the shipping cost. I will combine shipping and adjust shipping costs for multiple items purchased from my shop. Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are allowed in accordance with Etsy's general policies and time frame for "Item not shipped" or "item not as described."
If an item arrives damaged, please convo me within 2 days of receipt for either a replacement with a similar item if available or to request a refund. In either case the damaged item is to be returned before a replacement or refund is issued. If the damaged is to be returned, it needs to be returned within 7 days of original contact regarding the receipt of the damaged item.
If an item shows delivered by its tracking number, and you convo me to say it was not received, I will look into it with the post office and take further action from there.
Buyer assumes all shipping charges for returns. Before purchasing, make sure this item is what you want. Returns are ONLY accepted for the reasons listed above.
Additional Policies and FAQs
For custom orders, I will make the item and send the buyer photos of it before payment is expected, so that the buyer is sure that the custom items meets their expectations. I will work with the buyer to make any changes if necessary. If a custom order does not meet a buyer's expectations, the transaction can be cancelled and the item not shipped.
