Custom made, upholstered designs. Designs, fabrics, and sizes can be modified on any of my listings. I am happy to work with you in creating a one-of-a-kind piece, or replicating any of my current listings.

***Current lead time is backed up to 11-14 weeks from date of order. Each piece is custom built from frame to finish and quality takes time! I do my best to have orders completed sooner than the anticipated lead time without compromising quality***

Payment

Paypal is my preferred method of payment. Refunds cannot be given once a custom order has been placed, since materials, particularly fabric, are ordered, which are often non-returnable.
A deposit of at least half the order is due upfront, then the balance + shipping can be invoiced separately prior to shipment.

Shipping

Shipping costs are not included in the listings. Please send your zip code for a quote.
Shipping can be paid for at the time of order, or invoiced separately upon completion. Items will not be shipped until freight charges have been paid by the customer.
I contact my customers 1-2 weeks prior to shipment date. Please let me know if you are going to be out of town during the expected time of delivery since a signature is required by the freight company.

Local pickup is available if you live in the Seattle area.

International buyers, please contact me for more information on customs fees, etc.

I package all orders thoroughly prior to shipping to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition.
Insurance is included with the shipping quote but unfortunately I have no control over the handling of the package once shipped.
Luckily this has been a very rare occurrence, but if you notice any damage upon opening your order, please contact the freight company immediately so they can pick it up. When filing a claim you cannot keep the damaged item. I also need to be contacted right away so that I can file the claim. I will work with you in replacing the damaged headboard in the most timely manner. If requesting a refund instead of a replacement item, please be advised that I cannot issue any refunds until the claim has been processed and settled/ I have been paid by the freight company, which can take anywhere from 60-90 days.

Refunds and Exchanges

I stand behind the quality of my work and do my best to communicate with buyers, answer questions, and describe items and fabrics as accurately as possible- therefore, I do not accept returns.
Of course I strive for perfection in my work and do my best to replicate orders according to customers' specifications, but keep in mind that these are not cookie-cutter headboards- Each piece will have it's own unique qualities and adjustments will be made if I find it necessary.

Additionally, it is the buyers responsibility to carefully read my shop policies and current lead time which is posted under shop announcements**
Thank you for understanding, since I am a small business I cannot be as lenient with refunds.

Orders are made according to the specifications on the listings: dimensions, fabric, shape, nailhead finish, backing, tufting style and measurements, etc. It is the buyers responsibility to notify me of any errors or changes that need to make made on the listings prior to purchase.

I can email photos of fabric samples upon request but please keep in mind that colors may not appear as accurate and can vary depending on your computer monitor light setting, so I recommend requesting a mailed swatch if you are unsure of color. Additionally, dye-lots vary with all fabric, so it is possible that a sample of the fabric can be slightly lighter or darker than the same fabric, but different bolt, ordered for your custom design- Not a drastic difference in color but keep in mind this is out of my control. I cannot take returns based on color shade, so please ask questions if that is a concern.

My custom pieces are assembled and made of high quality materials. Instructions and recommendations are given for fabric care and assembly (wall mounting or leg attachment). I stand behind my work 100% but I am not responsible if any issues should occur with assembly or damage once it's in the customer's care.


Depending on the case, if you are completely dissatisfied with a design or fabric once your order has arrived, I can work with you in making adjustments. The customer will be responsible for shipping charges and the order will have to follow my current lead time.

I design custom pieces and can send sketches, or if you have a design in mind please feel free to send pictures of what interests you. The more visuals, the better!
Of course I strive for perfection in my work and do my best to replicate orders according to customers' specifications, but keep in mind that these are not cookie-cutter headboards- Each of my pieces will have it's own unique qualities. If a replica of a customers' photo is requested, I do my best to replicate the headboard as closely as possible, but any specific areas of concern, such as exact measurements, button spacing, etc., must be brought to my attention by the customer at the time of order. I cannot accepts refunds for such details that were not mentioned beforehand.
Headboard shapes may look slightly different (elongated or wider) when ordering a different size than shown in my listings. On tufted styles, button spacing is also subject to change by size ordered.
All tufted headboards are made with 1" diameter buttons, unless another size is specifically requested by the customer.

Fabric samples can be sent upon request- please provide your first & last name, address, and fabric colors, patterns, or textures that you have in mind.

Fabric is also subject to it's own natural flaws and imperfections- varying textures or threads are common with many fabrics.

If you prefer to mail your own fabric, I do ask that you send a sample or description beforehand to make sure it will work with your headboard design.
**Please keep in mind that fabric is upholstered with the width/selvage running horizontally (along the top and bottom of the headboard). It is important to keep this in mind when purchasing patterned fabric.**
