Hi and welcome to samsstuff: an eco friendly gift boutique filled with vintage, handcrafted, individualistic & upcycled jewelry, accessories & clothing, each with its own unique story to tell..

* About my techniques, designs & influences: As I am strongly interested in the environment, my favorite technique is to take something that has lost it's original use & turn it into something new & unique, making it fun & useful again, giving it a new story, built on the tale of old. I work in a variety of mediums and crafts & enjoy creating new pieces, as well as trying out new styles & techniques. I love music, art & photography, history, science, films, travel, new places & people. Any & all of these could be the influence for a new piece & I love sending each piece off to a happy new home :)

* Handmade pieces are crafted from a combination of vintage, found & new components, using my own designs & techniques. Vintage items range anywhere in era, from the 30's & 40's & into the 80's, some are handmade & most are family pieces. There are antiques here, as well. All pieces a completely finished & comfortable to wear, no loose or irritating wires or pieces. Items are made in a currently smoke & pet free environment.

*Some of you may have noticed a drop in inventory recently in both the vintage & handmade jewelry categories, this was due to a recent theft. I am working to restore inventory & will have new listings soon.

* I donate a portion of each sale to Autism Speaks, an organization dedicated to research, outreach & publicizing an issue that affects so many.
