Art you can wipe your hands on!
SaraSmedley's Shop Announcement
My line of butcher’s aprons are inspired, in part, by aprons my grandfather wore when he cooked. Julia Child wore a similar style apron and wrote, “its a working apron, not a dainty thing. ‘Dainty’ doesn’t look professional in the kitchen.” But let me add, Julia wore some pretty amazing printed blouses to complement her denim aprons and that’s where my prints come in.
~NEW LINE: Speaking of Julia Child, I've designed a special edition line of linen aprons and tea towels in honor of Julia and fueled by the much anticipated movie "Julie and Julia." The prints are based on the covers of Volume One and Volume Two of "Mastering the Art of French Cooking"
~NOVEMBER: On the 14th, I'll be at the From Scratch INDIEpendant Handmade Market in Trexlertown, PA (http://fromscratchmarket.com/index.html) where I will also launch my "Tinsel Time" linen tea towels for the holiday baking season! Don't worry, they will be available here as well.
