Currently I'm still inspired in the Submerged series. This work experiments with layering clear resin and acrylic paint. The image is several planes thick.
The layered resin is a way of making the color planes more conspicuous to the eye. The clear layers amplify the colors. I find that this method is playful and surprising. I enjoy the nuances that get stuck below the glossy surface. It's too bad that a some of this is lost in the photograph. If you want a closer look at some of the works feel free to set up a time with me through email to come check out my studio in Florence.
Prints are SHIPPED USPS PRIORITY (2/3 day delivery)
