Welcome to Scowling Woman Handicrafts! Don't let the name fool you, I am actually very nice. I do tend to ask a lot of questions of the world, and people, around me; as well as concentrate intensely on what I am doing... hence my notorious scowl! My Gram possessed the same facial expression, and incidentally also taught me much about how to be a strong, stubborn, opinionated woman who sews, creates, and cooks. I have an edgy/devilish sense of humor and have enjoyed coupling that with my love of simple old fashioned crafting through my stitched pieces. I hope you find they catch you off guard and make you smile, or even laugh out loud!
