About Gently Used Stamps:
All of the stamps I sell have been owned and used by other crafters and/or me. Some of the stamps were used a lot; others weren’t used at all. They often bear the nicks and scratches and marks of having been well-handled, some for as long as 20 years or more. Even though many will show no signs of having been inked, they all should be considered “used” and purchased "as is". I describe the stamps to the best of my ability. Let the photographs guide you to ask questions prior to purchasing.
Gently used stamps sometimes display the price tag from when they were originally purchased which is left in place, since many collectors find these tags to be very desirable. They often bear the initials or even the full name of the person who bought and used them. Stamps may show absolutely no ink residue or may show mild to significant ink staining on the wood and/or rubber. When ink stains are present, they do not affect the crispness of the stamped image.
I stamp all stamps prior to sale to verify that there are no unseen defects in the rubber. All stamps are thoroughly cleaned before being photographed and offered for sale. I try to describe the condition of the stamp as accurately as possible. Please look at the pictures carefully and feel free to ask questions.
Photographs are of the actual stamp you are purchasing. When shown, stamped images, cards, or other items made with the image have been stamped with the actual stamp being offered, are meant to show the quality of the stamp or to suggest design ideas, and are not included in the purchase. Flowers, table linens, and other props are likewise not included in this listing and are not for sale!
