Seasons of the Valley clothing uses only certified organic fabric. The natural fabric I receive is washed in eco-friendly detergents and then dyed with low impact fiber reactive dyes. Following the dye process, I wash the dyed fabric in a non-toxic ecofriendly textile detergent. Then I use an eco-friendly plant based fabric softener sheet for drying the fabric so the fabric will regain the softness sometimes lost during the dying process. After the fabric is dyed, I cut and sew each piece myself using a serger and sewing machine.
About the fabric:
Organic Cotton Jersey Knit: My organic cotton fabric is manufactured in South Carolina, USA. The jersey knit fabric is a medium weight. The organic cotton is blended with spandex for nice stretch and drape.
Organic Cotton Sweatshirt Fleece: The organic cotton sweatshirt fleece is also from South Carolina, USA. This fabric is so soft! It has very little stretch to it.
