Welcome to my shop. All the jewelry items seen here are handcrafted by me in the US. I use quality materials, including real cultured pearls, 14K gold-filled and sterling silver or fine silver. I fuse my own glass, and I import the pearls I sell myself. This jewelry will not fall apart on you; maybe you will even pass it down to your daughter or grandaughter. Although I was born & raised in the USA, many of my pieces are inspired by the time I spent living in the far east. As you can see, I am fairly new to selling on Etsy, however I have been selling at art shows since 2005.
Recently I won 1st place in 3D at the 2010 Lakeland Art Association Juried Art Show for the precious metal clay piece "Tidal Moon" and 1st place in Professional division crafts at the Kosciusko County Fair for the fused glass piece "Windswept". They can be seen at www.shanghaitai.com
