‘Shan Shan’ is my nickname and it is the theme of the project. ‘Shan’ represents coral in Chinese. The inspirations of my jewellery and object are through the use of different stages of coral life cycle as a metaphor of myself to express my past experience. The five stages of my ‘Shan Shan’ project are evolved from my personal stories. And I am strongly interested in recreate the movement of living coral into my work.
