Hi, My name is Maggie and I love Origami!

Origami is the Art of Paper Folding. All you need is a piece of paper, no other equipment necessary, no batteries, no easel to carry, no pastels to lose, no paint to drip… just paper.

You don’t need a formal art education or even to have wonderful artistic abilities. I, myself can not draw a straight line (just ask Nacine, she’ll tell you). All you need is paper, just paper, that’s all.

Most people don’t think of Origami as an art form.

They think;

Little children making paper airplanes and boats,

Young girls packing glass jars full of lucky stars, intertwined with hopes and dreams,

Bored office workers,

Prison inmates,

And of course the deranged psychopaths on those television crime shows that everyone watches (me included).

Some people see a crumpled piece of paper, I see a beginning, a middle and an ending.
