In this shop you will occasionally see hand spun yarns, raw wool, processed wool for spinning or felting, and knitted items made from my hand spun yarn.
Yarns may be from many different kinds of fiber; fine wools, down wools, long wools and crosses of those; vegetable fibers like soy, corn (ingeo), and bamboo; exotics like camel, alpaca, cashmere, and the occasional qiviut. some 3 ply sock yarns (nylon blends), those I have dyed, those you can dye. I like to spin fairly thin but you will occasionally see bulky yarns.
Raw wool and processed wool for your spinning pleasure may come from my sheep or from fleeces I just couldn't walk away from. These are almost always natural colors.
Washing instructions for your fine woolies are available on request.
The money that comes in from my yarns and wool goes to the "Feed the Sheep" fund, (feed *my* sheep fund actually) or to replace materials I need to spin. Mostly to feed the sheep though, they do a lot of the replacing.
