We are a working alpaca farm. Here I list things made on the farm from the fleece of our own animals when I have time to make them. Though we only raise alpacas ourselves we have friends and neighbors that raise various varieties of sheep and we trade fleece for our projects. Much of the silver gray fiber used in my items is from Annie (pictured above laying with her baby) among others. Here you'll find a wide range of wool blends and hand painted/dyed rovings, batts and tops as well as one of a kind items handmade here on our farm. For other items made from our fleece (many made by my mill rather than by me) check out our farm store:

I have gained such an appreciation for the fleece of heritage breed sheep while felting and crafting. I am now buying and trading for a lot more wool from the heritage breeds. I am also dyeing a lot. I don't have white alpacas so didn't do much dyeing but am growing to love it and hope to continue to offer a great selection of kettle dyed and hand painted longwool for sale. I am also an Ashland Bay dealer and carry all of their merino and colonial wool. I have found theirs to be the very best quality available and they are my biggest seller.
I'm big on bartering so if you have a suggestion feel free.... The things I am most interested in are useful things such as fiber, fiber processing equipment, spices, organic personal products and storage ideas.
