Where possible I use gold-filled chains and findings (clasps, etc) in place of gold plated. The gold coating on gold-filled items is 100 times thicker than gold plating. It has the look, luster and beauty of real gold, and lasts much longer than gold plating. With proper care a gold-filled piece can last a lifetime.
