These finest rare gems of the sea were beach combed to create beautiful sea glass jewelry . My genuine sea glass was surf tumbled on the beautiful shores of Prince Edward Island, Canada where I was born and now spend my summers.

Most of the glass that washes ashore today is quite old, and many pieces possibly date back decades or perhaps a century or more. I find myself wondering if the glass came from one of the hundreds of shipwrecks that litter the bottom of the lake, or if it is a remnant from a fisherman’s discarded bottle. During my walks,I often think of my dad who spent his life on the water.
