Hello and Welcome to Spin Knit and Life Fibercrafts. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your visit. I love to spin, knit and blend fibers on a drum carder. I love making things by hand. Most of my items will be knitting or spinning related, but occasionally I branch out and try other mediums.

I really enjoy making Luscious Ditty Batts. My favorite fibers for blending Ditty Batts are : Alpaca, Tussah Silk, Merino, and Blue Faced Leicester. Occasionally I'll throw in some Mohair. I keep a drop spindle next to my drum carder so that I can test spin each new Ditty Batt. If I can't spin it I won't list the Batt on Etsy. Most of my Ditty Batts will come in 6-8 ounce increments.

I have decided to expand my shop to include my handspun yarns.
Occasonally I will include an "art" or "novelty" yarn. Those yarns do take longer to spin and tend to be more expensive. Because of those reasons most of my inventory will include two ply natural fiber yarns that have been spun from my Luscious Ditty batts or other dyed fibers. Handspun yarns differ from mill spun yarns as they can be a bit thick and thin and/or lumpy bumpy. Handspun yarns aren't easily duplicated. Your handspun yarn purchases will be unique.
