DON'T YOU LOVE AUTUMN! I love cozy clothes, sweaters and blankets. I love making soup and biscuits for dinner. I love a fire in the fireplace. I love walking in air that makes your cheeks cold through leaves that crunch under your feet. I love pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies and pumpkin pie. Have a happy autumn and be sure to look at a some of my new autumn listings--both cozy clothes and aprons to wear when you make your favorite fall soups.

I acquired a love of sewing from my mom and grandmothers--Stella and Merle. My mom sewed me pretty dresses and embroidered beautiful things.

In my shop you'll find my original designs--designs to fit any occasion. I daydream about new designs and I must dream at night as well, because many mornings I wake up with an idea that I can hardly wait to get to. I carry my design journal with me most of the time. You never know when inspiration will hit.

While my designs are intended to make you feel pretty, flirty, young, elegant, or unique, you will appreciate my attention to quality and details. I often mix beautiful new fabrics exquisite vintage treasures. I love old buttons, linens, and fabrics. Much of the quality goes unseen. I never leave raw seams. You'll find professionally finishsed seams and fine craftsmanship. I believe that a perfect piece needs to look great, feel beautiful and last for many seasons.
