Mixed media art, archival prints and colourful crochet. I adore colour and pattern, and create art that makes every day a celebration. Oh, and I like trees.

What will you find here?
Bits and pieces of what I love to create. There may be small original mixed media artworks, quality prints of my paintings, Gocco prints and colourful crochet items. It all depends on what my hands are busy with at the time!

Why Stella Violet?
When I was expecting my third (and last) child over 9 yrs ago, this was one of the names I had chosen. I had a boy, who is sweet and beautiful but very much more suited to being a Max, so the name remained unused for years, resisting being bestowed upon one of our pet chickens. It's colourful, free spirited, a little bit vintage, so it seemed perfect for here!
