If you plan to be in Minneapolis on Saturday, November 14, stop by the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Its eighth annual Book Arts Festival will take place between 10-5 and Straw House Books will be there!

Straw House Books specializes in handbound journals, photo albums, and memory boxes. Materials are selected for their aesthetic, archival, and animal-friendly properties. All items are constructed with integrity and are guaranteed by the artist.

Paper isn't cut, but torn with a knife so as to produce a deckled edge. Bookcloth is created from quilting fabric and backed with acid-free mulberry paper. Boxes are hand-assembled from archival board cut by the artist. Each journal, album, and box is as unique as the memories it is designed to house.
