They're here! As seen in the July Phat Fiber sampler box - Shimmah! batts - Tussah silk and firestar hand dyed by me and blended on my drumcarder. They are luscious, smooth, and shimmery! Four colors are now listed, there will be an additional four colors coming soon, including a green, two shades of blue, and the Watermelon colorway featured in the Phat Fiber box.

My hand spun yarns and drum carded batts are made from a variety of natural fibers - wool, llama, alpaca, bamboo, and silk are some my favorites. On occasion I like to add a little luxury in the form of beads, glitz, fabric scraps, or other "novelty" items. My hand dyed yarn and fiber is created with a variety of dyes in colors ranging from pastels to brights. All yarns are washed with a lavender scented organic soap, rinsed, and air dried. The yarn is then formed into a hank by winding it onto a niddy noddy and the yardage is calculated.

My items are created in a smoke free, kid and cat friendly home (although neither the kids nor the cat are allowed to fondle the fiber - that is a treat reserved for me alone!). I believe in supporting other Etsy sellers so you will often find their products incorporated into my creations.
