SueWooJewels was born of the creative compulsion of a jewelry junkie (lifer!) In addition to collecting antique and vintage components forever, I have always been obsessed with stones (unlike Charlie Brown, I say “I got a rock.” with glee!) and, in the last 10 years, beads and Swarovski crystals too.

SueWooJewels is a 15-year attempt to combine these addictions into beautiful, unique, wearable jewelry creations that reflect history and heritage, glorious natural stones from our earth, and intricate (meditative) hand beadwork.
I use authentic antique treasures, hand-cut stones (most cut by either Gary Wilson or Larry Strickert – don’t even say the word “tumbled” near them!) and primarily delica beads to weave a bead bezel with needle and thread using the age-old peyote stitch.
