Sunshine's Creations was officially formed via the internet in 1995. I hand typed all the HTML code to create my own website (self-taught) and purchased a domain name and host. From there financial struggles pushed me to close down the website in 2004. I found etsy and the rest is history! I love the easy format for listing and checking out here and the listing fees aren't too bad.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from the University of Kansas in 2000.
I have been crafting (macrame`, painting, sewing, etc.) since as young as I can remember and I have to thank the Girl Scouts for keeping up my creative skills.
I was taught to crochet by my mother around age 5 and taught to sew by my grandmother around age 8.

I pride myself on taking total pride in my attention to detail, design, color combinations, durability and the ultimate in quality of all my handmade goods. All my crochet patterns are ORIGINAL and made up by myself, so I don't sell my patterns but you can rest assured that you will never see a single crochet item exactly like the ones I make!

All items come from a NON-SMOKING home! :o)

Let me know if you wish to change your shipping options before you purchase the item so I can fix the shipping rates. In general all jewelry and smaller items are shipped via USPS First Class and the rest is shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

I just went through a very painful divorce in which I asked the courts to NOT award me ANY alimony from my ex-husband nor did I ask for HALF of his 401K Retirement Plan that I was entitled to by law (yes, I refused my rights just to be nice to him but WOW am I hurting), that has put me in a position where I am now quite literally A STARVING ARTIST so any/all of your support by buying my handmade wares is so very much appreciated.
