I'm just learning Etsy now, but hundreds of Sunwoo Starfish clothes have gone to good homes with the super coolest kids.
I am a one mama operation out of my Juneau kitchen. All of my designs are original and hand-drawn, hand-cut, and/or hand-painted on 100% cotton garments.
In my family, nothing goes to waste. The kids paint seashells instead of paper, my dad can fashion a crab pot out of this, that, and old netting, and I got the habit of saving fabric scraps from my mother, who has tins full of them in our basement, you know, just in case. I still re-use and salvage just about everything in my crafting adventures, not just because it’s “green” and the right thing to do, but because it’s our way of life. Everything has potential. We try to use it to the max.
