sustainablejewelry's Shop Announcement

Hello! My name is Madeline and I create handmade jewelry inspired by the many little wonders of the natural world: feathers, leaves, butterflies, and birds. The materials I use are sustainable: recycled silver, reclaimed copper, and Grass-fed bone.

I create pieces that a woman can wear confidently every day, for any occasion. They are delicate, yet bold. Raw, yet refined.

Each collection blends seamlessly, allowing for an endless array of mixing and matching. A leaf here, a feather there. Equally perfect with your favorite worn-in jeans or a beautiful dress.
I am a self-taught artist who never had the guts to apply for art school. Instead I got a (not totally useless) journalism degree and meandered around from California to Colorado to Illinois til I found my way back home sweet home to Atlanta, Georgia.

Fortunately, along the way, I was able to unveil a passion for jewelry design and creation.
I had always felt like an artist, now I finally found my medium! I had purpose!

Authenticity has always been an important theme for me, and I hope that it, more than anything, is what shines through in my work. I choose themes and materials that matter to me. I hope you choose my jewelry because those same themes matter to you: sustainability, handmade quality, and the enduring beauty and inspiration found in nature.

When not making jewelry, I can often be found listening to Joni Mitchell in my sunny pink room, experimenting in the kitchen with Bob Smiles, or backyard romping with Ellijay, my wonderpup.
