My name is Rebecca. I make little porcelain pots with vegetables on them. I love the inevitable irregularity that comes with ceramics. The practice of making wheel-thrown pots, no matter how proficient or how amateur the artist, is a constant mingling of happenstance and intent. If there's a metaphor for life there, I'll let you find it. Each piece is wholly original: no two are ever the same, but each one is honed and refined into something sweet and imperfect.
