Aloha and welcome to my world of Kawaii and Hawaiian fabric. I was born loving fabric. When I was 6 I remember my mother showing me an old hand-crank type Singer sewing machine that belonged to my great grandmother. I was immediately intrigued by it. Then when I turned 9 I sat down at my mother's Bernina sewing machine and thought I knew what I was doing. I slammed my foot on the pedal like it was a race car. "Aaaahhhh!" was what my mother said first. "Time for sewing school," was what she said next. I started classes at Mrs. Iki's Sewing School and loved every minute, even the ones filled with seam ripping (a lot of seam ripping). I sewed clothes for myself, my boyfriend and other friends. I went on to get my degree in Apparel Product Design at The University of Hawaii. I interned for a famous Hawaiian designer and made a few couture pageant gowns. I then worked for a fabric converter as an outside sales rep. I met my now husband and had a population explosion. I decided to start my own online fabric shop first back in '08. Hawaiian fabric is it's own niche and I wanted to share my knowledge and awesome fabric with the world and earn some money along with it. It worked! You love my fabrics! For that I am so grateful. Every customer has been a joy to work with and I love being able to stay home with my children and be there through every milestone. Mahalo Mahalo Mahalo!
