I have just started a facebook page. I will try and post about when new items will be listed and hopefully some interesting things about my shop, if you would like to know these kind of things please "like" me.

My name is Amanda Katzenmeyer. I make silly creatures from upcycled wool and cashmere sweaters. Welcome to my shop! I hope you like it here as much as I do. I like the idea of making things out of recycled materials. Right now I am mainly focused on making strange animals out of recycled sweaters. I love the thought of taking something that is dated and possibly too worn for actually wearing and making something else out of it. I also like the fact that so many of the sweaters I use were way too expensive for me when they were new but now I get to experience all the luxury of the famous labels in a whole new way.

I also love to create ceramic sculptures, usually in the form of a droll looking face. Sometimes with a party hat and sometimes without. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't! They can be found here: amandakatzenmeyer.etsy.com
