Hello & Welcome! When our world is moving so fast and furious, it is good to slow down and create a ritual to clear out the old, stagnant energy and welcome in the new. You can do this today by working with your new Smudging Feather. Hang it on your wall, use it in meditation, and fan sage smoke to cleanse your surroundings. ~ ~ ~ ~ Connections to Nature ~ ~ ~ ~

Native Americans believed that Every and All are interconnected. Every and All represents humans, animals, trees, rocks, Mother Earth and Father Sky ~ ALL that is seen and unseen. Our interconnectedness provides us with opportunities to learn from Every and All along with opportunities to share our own wisdom and knowledge. These Smudging Feathers are my way of sharing my interconnectedness with you. Each one is created out of a deep respect, care, and love for nature. Each one is unique and can be used to ground you to the healing energies of Mother Earth.

~ ~ ~ ~ Feathers, Hides, Wood, and Gemstones ~ ~ ~ ~

The Smudging Feathers are made out of the natural gifts provided from Nature. All of the feathers are used as the birds (Turkeys, Pheasants, Parrots, and Lovebirds) used them first. Many of the feathers were naturally molted while others were gathered from those who gave their lives to sustain other creatures. Since the feathers are pre-used, they may show some signs of playfulness, over preening, and everyday wear and tear. The hides (Deer, Cow, Elk, Bear, Red Fox, Coyote, and Mink) were acquired from reparable individuals who care and respect these animals. The wood (Birch, Aspen, Oak, Diamond Willow, Purpleheart, Bocote, and Cocobolo) for the handles comes from the north woods of Minnesota, and my local wood working store. The gemstones have been gathered from many different sources throughout the last 10 years and all bring different energies to each Smudging Feather.

As the Smudging Feathers are completed, they are cleansed, blessed and energized with positive energy. They are each ready to find their new home to share their teachings with those who will listen and open to the interconnections.
