Welcome to Tangles as Tangled!
Hello Friends! After crazy summer, a car accident, and moving to the other side of the country, Tangles as Tangled is back. I will be posting lots of new items over the next few days, so keep checking back. I am now located in Portland, so hopefully you will see running the craft fair circuit pretty soon!
I create original handmade jewelry using wire and string and bits from nature. Each piece is a reaction to the natural patterns existing on earth, no two pieces are the same! I draw from constellations, the seasons, the wild shapes nature creates. I use all sorts of natural and manmade materials.
The results are new ways to bond with earth, with our home, and with the transcendent energy which fills it. Many of my pieces have crystals or other significant beads in them, to create amulets, sources of energy, protections, confidence, beauty, hope, and strength. Enjoy looking!
The Name for my shop comes from the introduction to Walt Whitmans "Leaves of Grass".(Which I highly advise everyone reads)
